The city is offering a summer program called Kid’s Factory for children in grades six through eight. The free, drop-in program offers recreational activities--including games, crafts, sports, field trips and movies--from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Cordillera, Del Lago, Glen Yermo, La Tierra, Linda Vista and Viejo elementary schools. At Castille Elementary School and the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, the program runs from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Information: (949) 768-0981.
