The owner of the property where an eight-unit residential complex will be built said Thursday that the gasoline spill on his property on Seal Beach Boulevard is believed to have seeped from a former gas station on a neighboring plot.
“We went through Yellow Pages from the 1920s to determine where the gas station was,” said Mario Musso, who is trying determine the extent of the spill.
The gas station Flying A was bought by Texaco Oil and they may be responsible for the cleanup, Musso said.
