A striker, Cid ran wild through opponents’ defenses last week, scoring two goals in a second-round playoff victory over Hemet and two goals and an assist in a quarterfinal victory over South Torrance. His overtime goal a minute into the extra period against Hemet, was the game-winner for the 24-2-1 Golden Hawks. Cid has 26 goals this season.
