--Center Natalie Kelly scored 18 points at West Torrance to help the defending-champion Panthers advance to the division final for the sixth time in eight years.
Peninsula led, 27-26, at the end of the third quarter, but pulled away in the fourth quarter by making 11 of 19 free throws.
DIVISION I-A
San Clemente 55, Ventura Buena 39--Colleen Turnbull scored 20 points to lead the Tritons to the semifinal victory at Capistrano Valley.
Kelly Greathouse scored 15 points for Buena.
DIVISION V-AA
Palos Verdes Chadwick 67, Riverside Woodcrest Christian 33--Erin Gilliland scored 31 points and Kristin Cegler added 15 points for the defending-champion Dolphins in the semifinal at Redondo Union.
Chadwick led, 31-19, at halftime, then outscored Woodcrest Christian, 23-9, in the third quarter.
