NCR Corp, the world’s largest maker of automated teller machines, said its authorized a 1-for-10 reverse stock split, to be followed immediately by a 10-for-1 split, in a move to squeeze out thousands of mini-shareholders and cut costs by millions of dollars. NCR said it added a large number of shareholders when it was spun off by AT&T; Corp. in December 1996.
