Oleg Shargorodsky scored his sixth power play goal of the season, one of three by Fort Wayne, as the Komets defeated the Ice Dogs, 3-2, Friday night in an International Hockey League game at Fort Wayne, Ind.
Patrik Stefan and Pavel Rosa each had a goal and an assist for the Ice Dogs (39-22-3), who remain in in second place in the Western Conference’s Southwest Division behind Houston.
Goalie Ryan Bach saved 17 of 20 shots for the Ice Dogs.
