About 70 members of South Coast Repertory’s Silver, Golden and Platinum Circle support groups were treated to a performance of John Glore’s “The Day After Evermore” Thursday at the theater’s Production Center in Santa Ana. The 45-minute musical, the Costa Mesa theater’s 1999 Education Touring Production, weaves a tale about a young girl coping with her uncertainty about the new millennium.
The play is available for booking at schools through May 28. Suitable for elementary-school children (grades kindergarten to sixth), the play can be performed in school auditoriums, gymnasiums and on playgrounds. Cost is $410 for a single performance, with a special rate for back-to-back performances.
During Thursday’s show, which included a luncheon, Platinum Circle members Damien and Yvonne Jordan booked a performance at St. Juliana Falconieri school in Fullerton. Silver Circle members Elliot and Joyce Rosenthal booked a production at Robinson Elementary School in Trabuco Canyon. (714) 708-5577.
