* Although I am a devoted fan of Al Martinez, I must take exception to his statement in his March 2 column that the idea of fur labels is “a product of minds too narrow to embrace larger ideals.”
I am not only a supporter of the humane treatment of fur animals (and all others) but am also an avid supporter of numerous substantive issues that affect the well-being of all humankind--not excluding the proliferation of superb chamber music.
