Puroflow Inc. of Van Nuys has been awarded a $231,000 contract for aircraft parts by the Turkish Air Force, the company announced.
“Many foreign countries own U.S. military equipment that requires spare parts,” said Michael Figoff, president and chief executive officer. “Puroflow can supply some of the hard-to-find or obsolete components for this equipment.”
Puroflow (OTC Bulletin Board: PURO) is a supplier of high-performance filters to the defense, space, commercial-aircraft and automobile-airbag industries.
Puroflow is registered to sell spare parts to Turkey, South Korea and all NATO member countries, Figoff said.
