The Orange County Housing Authority recently denied a $15,000 grant to cover program expenses at the Stanton Neighborhood Center on Santa Paula Street. Mayor Harry Dotson said he will meet with the county’s housing officials Thursday to appeal the grant’s denial. “In denying the grant, they’re denying the people,” he said.
