OK, New Dodgers, It’s Now or Never

After the Mike Piazza years failed to yield the Dodgers anything more than token playoff games, Fox eagerly dismantled a team of quality players, claiming that L.A. deserved a return to the Hershiser-Gibson glory years immediately. But if (or when) the overpaid-overpampered Kevin Brown, the aging Devon White and the reconstructed Todd Hundley begin to falter similarly, will Dodger fans have to suffer through another round of frantic trades and reorganization? What the heck, maybe I’ll just avoid the mess altogether and become an Angel fan.
