Teenagers Sought for Filmmaking Contest

What is a teenager?
Aspiring young Steven Spielbergs are encouraged to submit their answers as entries to the first Youth Video Arts Festival.
Videos should be 5 to 15 minutes long and must be entirely directed, written and filmed by teenagers who live in Conejo Valley.
Tapes may be entered in VHS or half-inch format.
Entries will be accepted until May 15; each submission costs $5.
Sponsored by the Thousand Oaks Arts Commission, the contest will span four categories: comedy, action, documentary and animation.
Winning entries will be screened June 1 at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center. For more information, call Pete Martinez at 381-2793.
