R.E.M., Latin Music and Reunions Top Greek and Universal Schedules

The first L.A. concerts by R.E.M. since 1995 and reunions of the Go-Go’s, the Allman Brothers Band, Bad Company and the Raspberries highlight the Greek Theatre’s 1999 season, while the Universal Amphitheatre’s schedule features three mariachi and Cuban festivals, underscoring the venue’s increasing emphasis on Latin music.
