American National Financial Inc., a title insurance provider, said Thursday that its board of directors has declared its first cash dividend--10 cents a share.
The announcement comes about a month after the Irvine-based company’s initial public stock offering. “This dividend is an expression of the confidence we have in our continuing profitability, our cash flow and the strength of our expanding operations,” said Michael Lowther, American’s chief executive officer.
The quarterly dividend will be distributed May 27 to shareholders of record April 8, the company said. The stock was unchanged Thursday, closing at $5.88.
