Neighbors in the Old Town West area will have a chance to argue for permit-only parking during a public hearing Monday. City officials drafted a quick plan to restrict public parking after neighbors banded together this month to protest the lack of parking around Cottonwood Christian Center on Sausalito Street. The city’s traffic and planning commissions had been studying the issue, but neighbors said they were not moving fast enough. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 3191 Katella Ave. Information: (562) 431-3538.
