KINGS-DUCKS REPORT

The Ducks recalled defenseman Dan Trebil from Cincinnati of the American Hockey League and put him in the lineup Thursday.
They had no choice but to play Trebil since neither Fredrik Olausson nor Ruslan Salei was fit to play because of minor injuries, leaving the Ducks with only six healthy defensemen.
Olausson has been nursing a strained muscle in his left side. Salei could not play because of a minor shoulder separation. Each played in Wednesday’s 2-2 tie against the Ottawa Senators, but neither was up to form.
“I’m still sore,” Olausson said. “It would have been a good game to play in. [But] these things happen.”
