Though Seders are traditionally held at home on the first two nights of Passover, some synagogues and other organizations hold community Seders. Among those planned this year in Orange County are dinners sponsored by the Jewish Community Center of Orange County and Congregation Shir Ha-Ma’alot of Irvine.
The Jewish Community Center event will be at noon Thursday at its senior center, 250 E. Baker St. It will cost participants $7.50 each and singles are welcome. Information: (714) 755-0340.
Meanwhile, Shir Ha-Ma’alot will lead a Passover Seder and dinner for the community at 5:30 p.m. on April 1 at the Atrium Hotel Ballroom in Irvine. Advance reservations and payment of $40 for adults and $18 for children ages 3-12 must be received by Thursday. The hotel is at 18700 MacArthur Blvd., across from John Wayne Airport. Information: (949) 857-2226.
