We were pleased to read your article on Long Beach Symphony Music Director JoAnn Falletta (“Her Next Overture,” by Kristin Hohenadel, March 14). However, Maestro Falletta will actually conduct two, not three, more concerts this season (March 27 and June 12) plus six of the seven Classics concerts in the 1999-2000 season. On July 1, 2000, she will become our music advisor and will lead the orchestra in two concerts of the 2000-01 season.
