Trustees for the Brea Olinda Unified School District will decide today whether to approve a districtwide policy for teaching English to non-fluent students. The policy, called Education for English Language Learners, outlines how to teach students who aren’t fluent in English and states the policy for requesting waivers. The 7 p.m. meeting takes place in council chambers, 1 Civic Center Circle.
