* Los Angeles County has signed a 10-year, $12-million lease for 60,804 square feet of office space at 2325 Crenshaw Blvd. in Torrance, where it will occupy the entire building. Alan Pyenson of Transpacific Development Co., along with Terry Reitz and Jim Biondi of Grubb & Ellis Co., represented the landlord, 2325 PDA, an affiliate of Transpacific. The county was represented by Vince Licato of Licato Realty & Associates.
* Bascom Group, an Irvine-based investment partnership, acquired 235-unit Upland Village Apartments at 850 N. Benson Ave. in Upland for $11.5 million from Positive Investments Inc., according to Scott McClave, acquisitions manager for Bascom. McClave said Bascom plans to spend $2.5 million on renovating the apartment complex. Bascom was represented in the purchase by Larry Andrews of Sperry Van Ness. The seller was represented in-house by Rao Yalamanchili.
