Ocean View School District trustees recently approved block grant proposals for schools that had not already submitted them. The grants offer at least $10,000 to each school. With the extra funding, Sun View Elementary School plans to buy technology equipment, library furniture, books and other instructional materials. Marine View Middle School will buy computer equipment and science instructional materials. Spring View Middle School plans to buy microscopes for its science program, four math computers, 20 heart monitors and three digital cameras.
