An awards ceremony for the nearly 1,400 junior high school students who participated in the 15th annual Orange County Academic Pentathlon will take place at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the auditorium at Anaheim High School, 811 W. Lincoln Ave. More than 140 schools from Orange and Los Angeles counties competed in the event, which tested the academic prowess of seventh- and eighth-grade contestants in such areas as mathematics, science and literature.
