The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday to approve a request by St. George’s Episcopal Church on Avenida de la Carlotaa to demolish an office building and replace it with a fellowship hall and a larger office building. Church officials said the project would expand the school and help attract more students.
City Planner Mike Thiele said the design would be consistent with the church’s existing architecture. Construction is set to start within the next two months. Information: (949) 707-2630.
