* A transfer from Monroe, Fleming made an immediate impact, earning Foothill League co-player of the year honors after averaging 17.9 points and 11.3.

* The Pacific League’s most valuable player, Garrett averaged 18.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in leading the Falcons to a share of their fourth consecutive league championship.

* The third consecutive Hart post player to be chosen All-Valley, Kentfield, the Foothill League co-most valuable player, averaged 13.5 points to lead the Indians to their seventh league title in a row.

* A multiple-sport star who has committed to Connecticut for volleyball, Lambert averaged 15.8 points, 11.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocked shots.

Vonetta Lanier / Palmdale

* Guard
* The best guard from the Golden League since Edniesha Curry, Lanier averaged 17 points and six rebounds to lead the Falcons to their seventh consecutive league title.

Brooke Porter / Harvard-Westlake
* 5-5, Jr.
* Guard
* Among the region’s best pressure players, Porter was the top three-point shooter for the state Division III finalists. She averaged 11 points, six assists and three steals.

Brian Taylor / Harvard-Westlake
* A third-year coach, Taylor led the Wolverines to a 29-6 record and the state Division III final. His assistant coach was Provat Gupta.
