North Orange County Community College District Chancellor Tom Harris Jr. has announced his retirement, effective June 30. During his nine-year tenure, Harris led the district through both lean budget years and times of increased state funding for new construction and programs. Last fall, the district was the only entity in Orange County to fully recover its losses from the county bankruptcy.
