The molestation case against a Burbank High School teacher moved one step closer to trial Monday when his case was transferred to Superior Court for arraignment.
Anthony Paul Bingham, 28, who taught drama and English, waived a preliminary hearing in Municipal Court in Burbank on charges including oral copulation and performing a lewd act on a 15-year-old girl.
Bingham, who worked for the Burbank Unified School District for three years, was arrested by Burbank police in January. Authorities would not disclose whether the alleged victim was a student at the high school.
Bingham will be arraigned in two weeks in Pasadena Superior Court.
