Dental/Medical Diagnostic Systems Inc., a Westlake Village-based maker of dental products, said it plans soon to list shares on Easdaq, a European stock exchange modeled after Nasdaq.
The company makes products that help whiten teeth and is also developing a digital dental X-ray system, for which it will seek Food and Drug Administration approval. The company said it has established its European distribution and market headquarters in Ghent, Belgium.
Listed on Nasdaq, it is the latest company to say it plans to list shares on the Brussels-based Easdaq exchange. Supercom Ltd., an Israeli maker of identification-card systems, said earlier this month it plans to sell up to $40 million of stock and be listed on Easdaq.
The company said in February that it posted a loss of $1.8 million in 1998, compared with a loss of $2 million in 1997. Sales rose to $19 million in 1998 from $16 million in 1997.
