In honor of National Police Week, the Police Department will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Station tours will be offered every half-hour, and Police Chief John D. Hensley will give a presentation at noon honoring Sgt. Donald Sowma, who was killed on duty Nov. 19, 1976. Demonstrations and information will be provided by the police special response team, motor units, canine officers and other department employees. Information: (714) 229-6600.
