In honor of National Police Week, the Police Department will hold an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Station tours will be offered every half-hour, and Police Chief John D. Hensley will give a presentation at noon honoring Sgt. Donald Sowma, who was killed on duty Nov. 19, 1976.
