Barbeques Galore Heats Up in Quarter

Barbeques Galore Ltd. said that stores open at least a year in the U.S. posted a 17.2% increase in sales in the fiscal first quarter ended April 30. Same-store sales at Australian outlets increased 7% in the same period, said the Irvine-based company, which operates a chain of specialty retail stores selling barbecues, fireside products and accessories.
