EMAP Petersen Inc., the Los Angeles-based publisher of Motor Trend and Hot Rod magazines, has acquired the world’s leading new-car auto show management firm, Liberty Management Corp., and its subsidiary, Liberty Productions Inc. Terms were not disclosed. Harrisburg, Pa.-based Liberty stages auto shows across the nation.
