Tickets Available for Finals for Opera Singers

Grand finals in the National Vocal Competition for Young Opera Singers, sponsored by the Loren L. Zachary Society, are June 6 at 3 p.m. in the Wilshire-Ebell Theatre, 4401 W. 8th St.
The 27th year of this competition presents 10 operatic aspirants competing for cash awards and other career benefits. Finalists will be accompanied by the Los Angeles Performing Arts Orchestra conducted by William Vendice.
Judges for the finals are Licia Albanese, Carol Neblett, Gene Brundage, Lowell Harris and Loren Zachary.
The concert is free but reservations are required.
To obtain tickets, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Zachary Concert, Dept. NR, 2250 Gloaming Way, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 (two-ticket maximum per order).
