I thoroughly enjoyed your article about Paula Poundstone (“Open Arms” by Candace A. Wedlan, May 9). I have been a fan of hers for ages, and now even more so when I realize what a selfless and loving mother she is and has been to the children who have been in her care. She is a very special woman indeed.
