Two men died and a young woman was injured Saturday when their car spun out of control on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu and struck a parked truck, sheriff’s officials said.
The car was eastbound on the highway at a high speed about 4:10 a.m. when the driver apparently lost control at Trancas Canyon Road, sending the vehicle into the construction truck parked on a dirt embankment, said sheriff’s Deputy Cruz Solis.
The two men were thrown from the car and died at the scene.
The woman was airlifted to UCLA Medical Center, where she was listed in serious condition.
Officials declined to identify the victims.
