CENTURY CITY — An Inglewood man allegedly drove his car through a crowd outside a dance club early Monday, sending five people to the hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Enrique Santiago Burell, 25, was apparently on his way home after a night at the Century Club on Constellation Boulevard when he veered his luxury sedan into the club’s parking lot, Los Angeles Police Lt. Joseph Peyton said.
Burell was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, Peyton said.
Most of the victims were hurt diving for cover, said LAPD spokesman Sgt. Willie Guerrero. They were treated at a nearby hospital and released.
