Finished first in the 100 and 200 freestyles at the Division II championships, giving her four individual titles in two years. Hayes won the 200 in 1:48.26, which was only two-tenths of a second off the division record set by North Hollywood Harvard Westlake’s Stacy Shupe in 1982. Hayes then won the 100 in 50.63, which was nearly a second faster than the Division I and II winners.

Pitched consecutive one-hit shutouts and struck out 24 to help Barons win league title.

Pitched nine-inning shutout vs. third-ranked Pacifica, had two-hit shutout vs. La Quinta
Erica Sorgi/Diving; Capistrano Valley/Junior
Won the Division I title with 566.85 points, nearly 110 points more than the runner-up.
