Scholar and actor David Fenimore will give a dramatic historical presentation on the California gold rush at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Fullerton Main Library. Fenimore will portray John Sutter, the Swiss immigrant on whose Northern California property gold was discovered in 1848. The program, designed to celebrate the 150th anniversary of California statehood, is supported by a grant from the California Council for the Humanities. Seating is limited and free tickets may be obtained in advance by coming to the library, 353 W. Commonwealth Ave. Information: (714) 773-5719.
