The Naval Weapons Station is hosting a Memorial Day service with the U.S. Submarine Veterans of World War II on May 31. Retired Vice Adm. Patrick Hannifin, who served on submarines during World War II, will be the guest speaker. The ceremony starts at 11 a.m. at the station’s main gate, off Seal Beach Boulevard near the U.S. Submarine WWII Memorial.
