The city’s Housing Authority manager recently attended a housing redevelopment conference in Palm Springs to learn more about new federal programs and grants. With City Council approval, Lynette Bielanski went to the meeting of the National Assn. of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, held in conjunction with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The workshop focused on new HUD programs, including the welfare-to-work program. Information: (714) 741-5100.
