The City Council will commemorate Memorial Day with a wreath-laying ceremony Monday morning at the Mission Viejo Veterans Memorial, 24932 Veterans Way. Each council member will place a wreath on each of the four bronze plaques that represent World War I, World War II, and the Korean and Vietnam wars. A fifth, larger wreath will be placed by Mayor Sherri Butterfield and Councilman Tom Potocki in remembrance of those who died in all other conflicts.
