As part of its commencement activities, Chapman University is inviting the public to a free concert Saturday from 8:30 to 10 p.m. titled “A Musical Salute to America.” Chapman’s 45-member wind ensemble will perform music from Broadway shows and movie scores, as well as some favorite tap-along marches and patriotic tunes. The concert will be held on the sunken lawn in front of Memorial Hall, 333 N. Glassell St. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Information: (714) 997-6783.
