PHILADELPHIA — One hundred people, each born on July 4 during a different year from 1900 through 1999, will meet at Independence Hall this year for a group photograph to mark their birthdays and the 223rd anniversary of American independence.
City officials said Wednesday that more than 25,000 people from across the country applied to be chosen for the “photo of the century,” which will feature at least one person from each of the 50 states.
