Re “Clinton Touts Plans to Help Working Parents,” May 24: Wonderful idea, taking tax dollars to allow overworked parents to stay home with their children.
Here is another: How about cutting taxes? If “Tax Freedom Day” were rolled back from mid-May to mid-March, Americans wouldn’t have to work as much. Perhaps it is not excessive work but rather excessive taxation that is keeping parents from their families.
