Delphi Users Assn. Inc. Expects to Change Name

The board of directors for Delphi Users Assn. Inc. in Thousand Oaks has voted to change the company’s name to Ebix Users Assn. Inc.
The name change is dependent upon membership approval at the annual business meeting. Delphi Information Systems, a supplier of software and Internet products for the property and casualty insurance industry, has already changed its name to ebix.com Inc.
Delphi Users Assn. is a national association of independent insurance agencies and brokerages.
“The DUA board of directors unanimously voted to do business as the Ebix Users Assn. Inc.,” said Carolyn Goodnight, Delphi Users president. “Because the vendor of our agency management systems will change their corporate name to ebix.com Inc., it makes sense for our organization to complement their focus.”
