5 GOP Rivals Agree on Televised Debate

The pace of campaign debates in Iowa quickened as five Republican presidential rivals, including Texas Gov. George W. Bush, agreed to meet in a televised forum Dec. 13. Aides to Bush, publisher Steve Forbes, commentator Alan Keyes, activist Gary Bauer and Sen. Orrin G. Hatch of Utah all announced plans to attend. Sen. John McCain of Arizona also is likely to attend, aides said.
