Last week’s 42-7 victory over Trabuco Hills was Mission Viejo’s first game decided by more than 10 points; this figures to be another close one. After losing its first four games by a combined 17 points, Mission Viejo won four in a row. Mission Viejo is allowing 18.4 points per game, but faces the league’s highest-scoring offense, averaging 24.1 points. El Toro Coach Mike Milner succeeded Mission Viejo Coach Bob Johnson at El Toro; they coached together at Los Amigos. Mike Marquez has been invaluable to El Toro in the battle of field position, averaging 41.5 yards per punt, and has made a 43-yard field goal.
