FloTool’s Fuel-Handling Division Sold to Kansas Automotive Company

Harbour Group’s Hopkins Manufacturing subsidiary, a maker of automotive products, said it bought FloTool Corp.’s fuel-handling division in Fullerton to help it offer more innovative products. Terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed.
The Fullerton division of FloTool will continue to focus on its product line of spouts, funnels and other fluid-handling products. The company offers 54 basic products. Emporia, Kan.-based Hopkins makes products for the automotive aftermarket, auto makers, dealers, repair shops and safety inspection facilities.
Hopkins’ parent, privately held Harbour Group, focuses on the development of industrial manufacturing companies for long-term investment. Harbour, its related companies and former subsidiaries have annual revenue of more than $1.5 billion.
