School district officials presented a comprehensive report to the school board Tuesday on the condition of school buildings and the need for more classrooms in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District.
With growing enrollment figures throughout the district’s 28 campuses, officials are considering the possibility of building a new elementary school and a new high school to relieve overcrowding.
The district’s facilities and planning department will get input from other school officials and return to the school board in January with proposals for meeting the need for classrooms.
