The City Council unanimously voted to terminate a three-year contract for custodial services with a maintenance company.
City staffers met with representatives of United Maintenance Services in an attempt to solve the problems related to its services, officials said. The city concluded that the company failed to comply with its requests, and the contract will be terminated effective Dec. 9.
