LAKEWOOD MAYFAIR (9-0) vs. LA MIRADA (8-1), tonight at Bellflower, 7, Fox SportsWest--Mayfair beat La Mirada for the first time since 1980 in last year’s Division VI championship game and hopes to make it two in a row in the Suburban League finale.

ROOSEVELT (7-2) vs. GARFIELD (1-8), Friday at East Los Angeles College, 8 p.m., Channel 58 (KLCS)--Roosevelt has already clinched at least a tie for the Eastern League championship and Garfield might be 7-2 if it was not forced to forfeit all but one of its victories for using an ineligible player. But the East L.A. Classic is a big game--and event--in any year.
