7 TONIGHT EL MODENA HIGH
The Century League title is on the line and Santa Ana Valley will try to win its first league championship since 1995, when it tied Villa Park for the title. That’s also the last time Santa Ana Valley defeated Villa Park, 21-20. Villa Park’s average margin of victory in the last three meetings is 29 points. The Falcon defense, led by linebacker Eliu Fatu, must find a way to contain an offense averaging 50 points in league play. Marquis Colvin is second in the county in rushing yardage and third in touchdowns, and quarterback John Henry Jackson also can turn to big-play receiver Bryan Arguello.
